BEST prayer

Luke 11:1

King James Version

11 And it came to pass, that,

as he was praying in a certain place,

when he ceased,

one of his disciples said unto him,

Lord, teach us to pray,

as John also taught his disciples.

What is the best prayer?

Pray to know God's will.

Apart from thanking God for all our blessings, known, unknown, seen, and unseen, this instruction from Jesus is the MOST challenging, and important prayer.

Luke 11:2

King James Version

2 And he said unto them

When ye pray, say,

Our Father which art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done,

as in heaven,

so in earth.

When you pray to know God's WILL, you send out the message of obedience.

God will surely help you with whatever you need, according to His will.

Of course, we can't understand that will, unless we're born again.

John 3:3

King James Version

3 Jesus answered and said unto him

Verily, verily,

I say unto thee,

Except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

We need to be born of water and of the Spirit,

John 3:5

King James Version

5 Jesus answered

Verily, verily,

I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

so we may discern the will of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14

King James Version

14 But the natural man receiveth not

the things of the Spirit of God:

for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them,

because they are spiritually discerned.

Spiritual discernment is essential, for God is a Spirit.

John 4:24

King James Version

24 God is a Spirit:

and they that worship him

must worship him

in spirit and in truth.

I've said it often enough -- unless we are born again, we won't understand things of the Spirit.

We'll continue to doubt, challenge, be confused, and defy.

But once you're born again, your heart automatically turns to Scripture -- the WORD of GOD.

When you are drawn to the Bible, the Holy Spirit makes things crystal clear.

God's Spirit gives you right interpretation of His Word.

Then, and only then can you do the will of the Father -- unquestioned.

For you see His ways, His wisdom, and His love.

You love praying to know His will.

Before you think, speak, or act, you can be found praying that God's will "be done", as Jesus taught us.

Being born again, we become sealed by the Holy Spirit, and He helps us pray, the right way, so we may know the will of God.

Romans 8:26

King James Version

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:

for we know not what we should pray for

as we ought

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered.

In short, only through Spirit can we know God's will.

If you're not born again, you will never be on target.

I can honestly vouch about that accuracy, for I am born again, and greatly desirous to know God's will EVERY moment.

Once you're born again, you will never want to think for yourself anymore.

Only God's will is upheld.

It's a lovely way to live, lived in certainty, founded on Jesus' life, and instructions.

He did go to the cross, as it was the Father's will, and also in fulfillment of Scripture, that we may be saved from the power of death, and of the devil.

It is actually a delight to do the Father's will, for by ourselves, what do we really know?

Do we see the whole picture?

Only God, who created the first man, heaven, and earth, can be counted on for guidance.

Through His Spirit, we would know His will.

By being born again, we will follow that will.

I believe even a child could understand this.

It's a systematic belief, a step-by-step process in following the will of God.

1. SEEK God with all your heart.

2. BECOME born again.

3. PRAY to know His will.

4. TRUST an answer is forthcoming.

5. HAVE faith in God's wisdom.

6. GIVE thanks for the answer.

7. OBEY whatever He asks you to do.

After that, keep doing STEPS 3-7 each time you have a question, or desire in your heart.

Clear your heart for God, for that will be His home.

Be not obsessed with the ways of the world.

Remain focused on God alone.

The more you read Scripture, the more you understand God.

His ways will become clear.

You will even find yourself thrilled at the ways of God, for He, too has humor, and delights to delight His children.

As born again, you will see humor in God's ways, for you have become child-like with God.

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

3 And said

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

There is no going around what God's will is for us.

We are His children.

Father knows best.

Stop being the rebellious teen.

Waste of time, and energy.

Become a teachable child.

JESUS is the answer.

Follow His example.

He only cared to do the Father's will.

TRUE Inner PEACE

JESUS said:

John 16:33

King James Version

33 These things I have spoken unto you,

that in me ye might have peace

In the world ye shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer;

I have overcome the world.

Our only hope is in Jesus.

But He waits for us to welcome Him.

The day you surrender your will to God, is the day you've invited Jesus in.

On that day of your complete surrender, you will get to know the ways of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will start teaching you.

That is the GREATEST honor, for this is the Spirit of God working with you.

Doubts will leave you.

Fear will leave you.

Peace, and happiness, will visit you.

How about prosperity?

Depends what your definition of prosperity is.

Is it aligned with God's definition of prosperity?

Matthew 6:19-20

King James Version

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth

where moth and rust doth corrupt,

and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,

where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,

and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

But why do you worry so much?

God knows what you need.

Matthew 6:8

King James Version

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them:

for your Father knoweth

what things ye have need of,

before ye ask him.

Everything you need, you will have, if you are of His kingdom.

Matthew 6:33

King James Version

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God,

and his righteousness;

and all these things

shall be added unto you.

There is nothing like being born again, having contentment, knowing you are being watched over by Jesus, and being instructed by His Spirit.

Your thinking will shift.

Your priorities will shift.

Your needs will shift.

You will aspire to become a better person.

You will not want to fall from grace, ever again, now that you've found JESUS.

Only because you trust God, and have complete faith in Him.

He will definitely lead you to become born again.

There is no other way to understand His way, except if you are born of water and of the Spirit.

It's a personal relationship you need to form with God.

He awaits your complete surrender to His will.

Once you do, all will be made clear.

You will experience peace, love, and happiness as defined by God.

All you're experiencing in the world now, is not of God.

There is only God, and the world.

Which one will you choose?

Which one will you trust?

It's such a no-brainer, I'm even wondering why people have to think about it.

One look at the news, you'd know.

One look  at confusing agenda, you'd know.

With God, it's completely clear.

You know exactly where you stand with Him.

Philippians 4:7

King James Version

7 And the peace of God,

which passeth all understanding,

shall keep your hearts and minds

through Christ Jesus.

But people are proud.

They resist.

They rebel.

They think they know better.

They're afraid to lose what they think they've already built, or accumulated in this world.

They're afraid to let go of people, who cause them more harm, than good.

And yet when God says it's time for Jesus to return, do you think you can take anything material, or prestigious, with you?

When the faithful meet the Lord up in the air, our bodies will be changed.

We cannot take our corrupt souls and bodies to God.

The only thing that will remain is the WORD.

That's Jesus.

Steady.

Loving.

Consistent.

Reliable.

Hebrews 13:8

King James Version

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday,

and to day,

and for ever.

A true born again never worries.

Our faith is in Jesus.

He calls the shots.

Man has no idea what the Lord is capable of, even as Scripture already testifies of it.

Even as the Lord has already ministered, suffered, died, was buried, and rose again on the third day.

And yet one proof of His power remains foremost on my mind.

Such as the power He gives one angel.

One angel, dear readers.

Just ONE angel.

2 Kings 19:35

King James Version

35 And it came to pass that night,

that the angel of the Lord went out,

and smote in the camp of the Assyrians

an hundred fourscore and five thousand

and when they arose early in the morning,

behold,

they were all dead corpses.

By one order from God, the angel slays 185,000 enemies.

Here's an idea how many angels there may be, if it's possible to count that much.

Daniel 7:10

King James Version

10 A fiery stream issued

and came forth from before him:

thousand thousands ministered unto him,

and ten thousand times ten thousand

stood before him

the judgment was set,

and the books were opened.

Jesus speaks of His power, too:

Matthew 26:53

King James Version

53 Thinkest thou

that I cannot now pray to my Father,

and he shall presently give me

more than twelve legions of angels?

Now you see why a true born again focuses on Jesus only.

He's the only TRUE power.

He's the only One who can really teach us how to love.

He's the only One who commands heaven, and earth.

When you follow the only TRUE power, how can you not have PEACE?

Our HOPE in the BLOOD of CHRIST

1 John 1:7

King James Version

7 But if we walk in the light,

as he is in the light,

we have fellowship one with another,

and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son

cleanseth us from all sin.

We were once dead, in sin.

Until the Lord Jesus -- the Lamb of God -- offered His life for us, that we may be saved.

Death was the hold of the devil upon us.

The wages of sin, was death.

Romans 6:23

King James Version

23 For the wages of sin is death

but the gift of God is eternal life

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus defeated the devil's hold on us, the day the LORD died on the cross.

Hebrews 2:14

King James Version

14 Forasmuch then as the children

are partakers of flesh and blood,

he also himself likewise took part of the same

that through death

he might destroy him

that had the power of death,

that is, the devil;

Let us run to the cross for healing.

Let the blood of Jesus cleanse us from our sins.

Ephesians 1:7

King James Version

7 In whom we have redemption

through his blood,

the forgiveness of sins,

according to the riches

of his grace;

Through the cross, Jesus atoned for our sins.

He took on the weight of our sins.

It was the only way we could be saved.

1 John 2:1-2

King James Version

2 My little children,

these things write I unto you,

that ye sin not

And if any man sin,

we have an advocate with the Father,

Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins:

and not for ours only,

but also for the sins of the whole world.

Are we worth all that love?

God thought we were.

John 3:16

King James Version

16 For God so loved the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him

should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

The least we can do -- in deep gratitude, for the grace -- is to GLORIFY GOD.

1 Corinthians 6:20

King James Version

20 For ye are bought with a price:

therefore glorify God in your body,

and in your spirit,

which are God's.

And to BELIEVE in JESUS.

Acts 16:31

King James Version

31 And they said,

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,

and thou shalt be saved,

and thy house.

For we have been given the gift of grace.

The gift of forgiveness.

The gift of eternal life.

And the gift of the Holy Spirit.

How GOD loves us so!
