1 Corinthians 16:22

King James Version

22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, 

let him be Anathema Maranatha.

That verse called to me today.

But I had to make sure.

What did "Anathema Maranatha" mean?

I turned to SPIRIT and SCRIPTURE, that I may understand.

Proverbs 21:1-2

King James Version

21 The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, 

as the rivers of water: 

he turneth it whithersoever he will.

2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: 

but the Lord pondereth the hearts.

Tired of trying to make sense of things?

Who can you really trust?

What's the easiest way to know?

How does one get things right in this world?

Be governed by the LAWS of GOD, that's how.

The world will sway you this way, and that, but if you know the laws of GOD, you will not be at a loss.

You will know what to do.

You will know what to say.

You will know what to think.

You will know what to obey.

You will not be in error.

At least, in the EYES of GOD.

That's all that matters anyway.

You will be guided by SPIRIT and SCRIPTURE at all times.

The true born again has surrendered his will totally to GOD.

He believes in JESUS.

Unless you're born of water, and of the SPIRIT, you cannot possibly comprehend and accept the LAWS of GOD in Scripture.

SPIRIT makes things clear.

What could be more refreshing and empowering, than knowing GOD's WAYS and WILL?

You will be guided each moment.

Your delight is in obeying GOD.

Your work serves GOD alone.

And because it serves Him, your work is of great value to those GOD directs you to serve.

You see, JESUS said:

Luke 16:15

15 And he said unto them, 

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; 

but God knoweth your hearts: 

for that which is highly esteemed among men 

is abomination in the sight of God.

What do you think is acceptable to man?

There's greed, power, vanity, lust, disobedience, defiance -- things of the world.

Things of the enemy.

Such are not acceptable to GOD.

It's always been a choice between:

GOD and mammon.

JESUS and Satan.

Hot and cold.

There is no lukewarm.

You've got to make a choice.

Only through the SPIRIT of GOD, by being born again, by belonging to the LORD, can you make right choices.

Those right choices get you to heaven, to eternal life, to fellowship with CHRIST.

The LAWS of GOD are precise.

It is for our own good.

We must live by Scripture.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, 

and is profitable for doctrine, 

for reproof, 

for correction, 

for instruction in righteousness:

WHAT to FOCUS on EACH day

JESUS said:

Matthew 6:34

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: 

for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. 

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

How much control do we have over things happening in the world?

Nothing.

Zilch.

Only GOD has FULL control over EVERYTHING.

The sooner we accept that, the more peaceful we'll be.

The world's too crazy, to figure out.

If you're a control freak, the more you'll freak out.

The more obsessive-compulsive you are, the more you'll go nuts.

If you're a nervous person, you'll be a wreck.

Time to put things in perspective.

The world is out of control, for the enemy is at the helm

God allows it all, for there will be a harvest.

Pretty much the parable JESUS told us, about the good seed, and the tares.

The householder allowed both to grow together, even as an enemy had sown the tares among the good seed.

Matthew 13:30

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: 

and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, 

Gather ye together first the tares, 

and bind them in bundles to burn them: 

but gather the wheat into my barn.

Asked to explain the meaning of that parable, JESUS declares:

Thus, I don't really read the newspaper, or listen to the news.

I'd much rather listen to sermons, write my articles, and listen to the HOLY SPIRIT's prompts.

I'm not even on social media.

I've entrusted ALL my blogs and posts to the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD.

He's the ONE who teaches me EVERYTHING about Scripture.

I get ALL the TRUTH I need from the BIBLE.

The true born again trusts in JESUS alone.

We know that ANY moment GOD decides, TRUE believers would meet His Son up in the air, before real trouble starts.

So, what good are world domination plans when the LORD comes for His faithful?

What good is hoarding wealth, and power?

Rather, fear JESUS.

He holds the keys to heaven, and hell.

Matthew 10:28

but rather fear him which is able to destroy 

both soul and body in hell.

I'm just an overgrown kid who loves JESUS with all my heart.

Here's one of my favorite verses -- a very powerful, and stabilizing one.

The SPIRIT of GOD anointed the LORD JESUS, for a DIVINE purpose.

In service to the forgotten people of God:

1. to preach the gospel to the poor; 

2. to heal the brokenhearted, 

3. to preach deliverance to the captives, and 

4. recovering of sight to the blind, 

5. to set at liberty them that are bruised,

You can see the HEART of GOD in those verses.

How He loved all of us, sending His only begotten SON, so we may all be saved from sin.

How JESUS -- the sinless one -- took on ALL of our sins, by His blood, so we may all be saved.

But people continue to sin to this day, and remain ungrateful.

JESUS died on the cross, to destroy the devil.

Hebrews 2:14

That is also the reason for all my blogs.

To reveal the TREASURES of the BIBLE.

We need to humble ourselves before GOD, and start BELIEVING in JESUS, who gave His all.

We have been greatly deceived by the devil, and only by the GRACE of GOD can we all be saved now.

Read the BIBLE, for it tells of GOD's TRUTH.

More than at any time -- for these are perilous times -- we need to know, ONLY THROUGH JESUS can we be SAVED.

Romans 3:23-24

The world may look like a dangerous place, but the LORD JESUS had already conquered death, and the devil, who had power over it.

There is no need to fear those who intimidate us, for Jesus fights for us.

Jesus always intercedes in our behalf:

We only need to believe in the greatness, and faithfulness, of the FATHER, and SON, for they are ONE.

What scoffers, and unbelievers, are to expect about the near future.
